Army restores control over new points in southwestern part of Damascus Countryside

Units of the Syrian Arab Army restored control over new points in the area surrounding Beit Jinn Farm in the southwestern part of Damascus Countryside.

SANA’s reporter in Damascus Countryside said that army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over new points near al-Manbij Spring after heavy clashes with terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra close to the eastern entrance of Beit Jinn Farm.

A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured due to the clashes in addition to the destruction of a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun via guided missile, according to the reporter.

Separately, Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) on Tuesday transported several humanitarian cases from the Eastern Ghota to Damascus hospitals.

The SARC said in a statement that volunteers from it in cooperation with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) transported humanitarian cases from the Eastern Ghota to hospitals in Damascus to receive the required treatment.
